Easy on Sunday Morning! Sept. 2nd Daily

20 miles for the day

Had a really nice run with OstranderRunner this morning in the Metro Parks on the Bridle Trail. He was up in the area for the holiday weekend so we were able to hook up for a few miles on the bridle trails in the parkway.

12.00 easy miles in 1:25:28 (7:07) on a cool, sunny morning.

8.00 more easy miles around the neighborhood this afternoon in 56:17 (7:02).

10.24 in 1:25:07 = 8:19s. How many others ran for 1:25 today? :)

Usually Sunday is my Big Run day, but with yesterday's race I just did a medium distance EZ run. My legs feel fine, but I'm feeling a little PF action on both feet right now, so I'll be doing the shoe swapping thing next week (I have four different shoe models that I rotate every day when this happens and it clears things up very rapidly).

13 miles easy. Felt good though a little sore as I raced yesterday. Yesterday I did 11 miles total including a 5 mile race in 29:21, which I was very happy with. Held back early on and did my first 2 miles in 12:04 before blasting the last 3. My final mile was 5:34.

Ran 12 miles )just over 7-minute pace) with Ron this morning and enjoyed the company on a longer run for me. I hope to get the chance to repeat my visit soon.
