Need some help?

Hi, Have done some reading as always and found an interesting article, but I just don't get it. How can you found out your own stride angle? Or witch exact angles are they measuring? Here is there explanation: The Stride Angle is the angle of the parable tangent deriving from the movement of a strid...

Re: eBook ideas

I think it makes a lot of sense and I like that you are very specific about everything Tinman.  Reading on this forum has given me the basic principle of your training method, but how to really fine tune the program is what I would like to learn now. A topic on off trail running is on my wish list h...

Re: Winter Base Building

Hi monica, I think you need stamina work during base training to. I had problem with a bursitis for a couple of month and could only run slow. My performance level dropped a lot. I can now do CV and tempos again and my performance is going up. To build up endurance in the intermediate muscle fibers ...

Re: A depressing 'getting old' thread

Some great posts here  :D I am 35 years old and have been training running for 10 month now. Trying to follow the Tinmans principles as good as I can. Making progress almost every week. Only doing 35 mpw so far, building it up slowly to not get injured, hope to be able to run 50 mpw within 6-9 month...

2 Can you preform a SLR test and a PKB test?

3 Any weakness or numbness in the lower body?

Re: How to build up CV running?

Thanks for all the input    :D :D :D From the Tinman calculator I have come to the conclusion to set my CV pace to 4min 25 sek per Kilometer. I have run 5k in 23 min without pushing fully and 1 k in 3min 35 sec when pushing as hard as possible, but that was 3 months ago and I am much stronger now. I...

Re: How to build up CV running?

Thank you very much for the info Tinman, I was out and competing in the forest today, very hard conditions, almost blizzard. My legs felt much better but still I think the interval should be done one day earlier and not more then 3 reps of 1k CV pace. I will shorten the rest time gradually so I come...

Re: How to build up CV running?

Thank you very much for the input dkggpeters I'll probably stay at around 3-4 reps of 1k CV for a while then. Then try out how many days it takes to recover. But is the recover time just suppose to 200m jog? In the article section Tinmans recommendations for long intervals is to rest about the same ...
