I thought I answered this question before.

Long tempos on the trail (if it's not rocky) should be a regular, weekly part of your training. Otherwise, mix CV, threshold, and long hills to your program. Those faster sections can be part of along run, thus making it a Big Workout.

So, 1 big workout would be tempo on trail (1h long like Tinman tempo) and other CV , and on the weekend long runs ( several hours long on trail , with hills included). Tinmsn tempo runs on flat every other week?
On this forum there's no many posts about trail running.

I used Tinman training for 5 months, and i'm very satisfued with results.

If you have tempo miles within your weekend long run, include it as a BIG WORKOUT! This is what I do. I think this makes sense. During mid week longer run, you can include CV reps or a bit more upbeat tempo paced mile reps or your 1 hour long tempo.  This mid week work out would be your other BIG WORKOUT. Certainly, you could have a long, slower long run and 2 other BIG WORKOUTS too but you have decide if this is wise for recovery and for what your goals and weekly  mileage is.
Those who try, fail! Those who do what it takes to succeed, will SUCCEED!
