Jogging Stroller = Sore Knees

Post by incarnadine » Wed Sep 05, 2012 11:10 am

Has anyone else had this problem?

I feel as though running with the stroller affects my gait in a negative way, and I end up with my usual suite of problems (tight right hip, right ITB, pulling the patella off track and causing knee soreness).

Is my self-diagnosis likely correct? Any suggestions on how to fix my issue? My 11 month old son sleeps like an adult (he's out from 11pm or midnight until 7 am), so I have zero opportunity to leave him home and get training in without burdening my wife unfairly, so it's almost always stroller or nothing.

Do you run with both hands on the handle?  If so try holding on with only one hand and experiment.
