So what does everyone do pre-run/post run?
It can be from food, to stretching, to just little fun tidbits
I like to drink a Nutrament shake...About an hour before and an hour after. It sits light on the stomach, about 56g of carbs which is good for a nice relaxing run, gives you the extra boost you need. Also has 16g of protein which is good for recovery.
I have 1 shake before and after I run...If you have never tasted it before, the vanilla tastes pretty good. Never tried to the variety of other flavors. choclate, strawberry, banana...etc...
I also try and do some dynamic stretches before I run and static after
